OLIVER BROWN BELGIAN CHOCOLATE CAFE

Cafe: Oliver Brown
Location(s): Liverpool

Rating: 3.5 / 5

Oliver Brown is a chocolate cafe franchise that is well known for their delicious chocolates made in Belgium.
The store is popular for their quality coffee and chocolate beverages and desserts.
Oliver Brown has 34 cafe's in Sydney due to its popularity.

My favourite item on the menu from Oliver Brown would have to be the hot chocolate. Their hot chocolate is rich with Belgian milk chocolate that is perfect for the cold weather.

Overall, Oliver Brown is the perfect place to go for dessert or chocolate beverages with friends. It has a cosy and warm atmosphere that is welcoming and a nice place to catch up with friends or to go after dinner. Also there is free wi-fi for those who would like to catch up on work at a cafe!

PAPER PLANE CAFE

Cafe: Paper Plane Cafe
Location(s): Parramatta
Rating: 4.5 / 5

'"Building a paper plane and making it fly - that's kind of what we wanted to do with this cafe. Just putting our imagination into a shop and seeing if we could make it work."
Carla Soriano, co-owner of Paper Plane Cafe

Paper Plane Cafe is a popular cafe located in Parramatta. They offer classic brunch options with their own creative twist.

The cafe is one of the few that open on weekends in the suburb. The venue is a casually inviting place decorated with fresh flowers on each table and stylish farmhouse furniture.

Paper Plane serves breakfast/brunch meals, burgers, coffee, fruit shakes and juices.

My favourite meal here would have to be the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon.
The service is great with friendly staff and the food quality is amazing.
Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys brunch and breakfast food.

MISTER GEE BURGER TRUCK

Mister Gee Burger Truck is a burger restaurant that serves fresh, quality burgers.
The food truck has created a great name for themselves, publicised on popular social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The food truck is so popular that you might have to wait hours just to have a taste of these delicious and mouthwatering burgers. But it is definitely worth the wait!

The burger truck sells one burger on their menu for a week along with truffle fries and a baklava shake.
The combination of all 3 goes really well together and is definitely filling.
Mister Gee's are only opened Thursday till Saturday every week from 6.30pm - 10pm.

AJISAN RAMEN

Cafe / Restaurant: AJISAN RAMEN
Location(s): Sydney City
Rating: 3.5 / 5

Here’s to good food and good ramen. Located in the heart of the city, this lovely Japanese restaurant hosts a menu ranging from not only ramen, but bento and other delicacies. The last time I went was with this friend of mine, for her birthday. We had a pretty enjoyable time, the food was the right amount to keep you feeling full without getting bloated.

I ordered a ‘Chicken Ramyun’, which was seasoned to perfection. It had the right balance of soup and really satisfied my hunger cravings. Interior-wise, it was quite cosy and busy at the same time so would recommend you to book before-hand to avoid getting disappointed.

THE POTTING SHED

Cafe / Restaurant: The Potting Shed
Location(s): Alexandria
Rating: 5 / 5

You’re bound to come across the most retro things when you step into The Grounds of Alexandria, and The Potting Shed was no exception. The time that we went last time, most of the other shops were closing and there was just this one coffee shop open. We were pretty hungry since I navigated everyone on foot and got a bit lost along the way (not my fault it was the GPS I swear). Going into the little pub I got this really hipster vibe coming off it. There was an exotic parrot that would greet and go up to some customers, the decoration was on the dot, the staff were especially nice, and the food was amazing. All at an affordable cost, I managed to feed myself and three other people, without feeling too broke. I ordered a breast chicken meal with wedges, chicken strips and chips, and although it doesn’t seem like a lot we had to force ourselves to finish eating the yumminess. It was so good, would recommend every time.

GELATISSIMO

Cafe / Restaurant: Gelatissimo: The Real Taste of Italia
Location(s): Circular Quay
Rating: 2.5 / 5

I’m always on the lookout for the best of frozen food. I was pleasantly surprised by the gelato that I bought (plus stole off of the other people that I went with). I bought a double scoop sea salt caramel flavour and hazelnut. It was pretty average at most, but the quantity was really huge for the comparatively small price of two scoops. I remembered that I probably could’ve taste-tested the flavours before but I survived. On the bright side, the ice-cream that I stole off my friend had this honey duke flavour which tasted really good, albeit a bit sweet.
